The MG Story

Sosheel Samuel founded MG Advisory in June 2020 after experiencing the benefits of fractional arrangements over the traditional hiring model for both himself as a professional and the companies contracting him. He found great fulfillment comes from delivering unencumbered for teams that don’t have the bandwidth to produce. As a fractional resource, Sosh could serve as a “secret weapon” to executives and VPs bogged down by bureaucracy in major global corporations. 

With many experienced, executive-level resources in his network, Sosh saw the opportunity to share their expertise with reduced risk and at a lower rate than hiring them traditionally. This established the MG Fractional Executive Bench. 

In 2019, Sosheel brought on Aaron (AJ) Rose as his business partner. With AJ’s support, MG began offering Business Development as a Service (BDaaS) to companies needing a go-to-market outbound sales strategy and process. 

MG expanded its services in 2021 to include a wealth of Pakistani talent. Thanks to MG’s connections in Pakistan, we offer access to a network of highly-skilled, experienced, and well-vetted professionals available for hire in the US. The Elastic Talent Pool is designed for companies who need quick and flexible access to talent to execute quickly, despite needs that change month-to-month.

The MG Partners

Sosheel Samuel

Sosheel is a Fractional Executive and Advisor. Sosh worked at Time Warner for 17 years, starting from an entry-level job in their call center in 1998, then moving into tech and working his way up to management. He has the experience of working from the bottom to all the way to the top and all the roles in between. Sosh became a Senior Director in 2008, then a VP in 2012, and left in 2014, just before the company was sold. 

Sosh served as the VP for POPin for three years, then briefly moved into fractional advisory roles before being sucked back into a traditional VP of Services role at a sizable tech company. In this role, Sosh experimented with new consumption models like elastic resources but eventually hit an institutional wall and decided to move on.

In June 2020, Sosh started MG Advisory to provide fractional solutions to executives in businesses that are hamstrung by bureaucracy. 

Sosh is from Denver and enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and boxing.

Aaron (AJ) Rose

Aaron (AJ) is a sales and business development specialist. AJ worked with Encore in San Diego for 16 years, progressing up the corporate ladder to Senior Sales Manager. AJ came to MG in 2021 and has since supported sales, outbound processes, and Business Development as a Service (BDaaS).

For businesses needing sales direction, project management, and business development, AJ is a strong resource available for hire from the MG Fractional Bench. 

AJ is originally from Denver but has lived in San Diego for the last 18 years. He enjoys outdoor activities like snowboarding, camping, and hiking and has a passion for music on vinyl.
